However, last week’s switch caused some issues with large pop-up ads, particularly with the weather app.
WTVA viewers let us know about the issues, and we’ve been working to resolve them.
The app’s developer pushed an update on Monday that should’ve corrected the ad issues.
However, it’s important to know that the apps will continue to show ads, but they should be easily dismissible moving forward.
Weather app users are encouraged to search the Apple App Store or Google Play Store for an update to the WTVA weather app and download the update.
Users do not have to download a new app; they just need to download the update.
The ad issue with the news app should resolve automatically without downloading an update.
