After two years of waiting, Huawei has finally debuted EMUI 16 with the all-new camera flagship – Pura 90s series. It seems the wait was worth it, as the latest OS upgrade promises a smarter and smoother experience with an enhanced AI buddy!
Huawei unveiled EMUI 15 in December 2024. While global users have been expecting a new version in 2025, the company launched more phones with the same old software version.
The tech giant kept upgrading HarmonyOS versions in China and for smart wearables in the overseas market. However, such a treatment was missing in the EMUI world.
But the Huawei Pura 90s series ends this wait and introduces EMUI 16. The new software version is currently available only to two flagship smartphones:
- Pura 90s Pro
- Pura 90s Pro Max
Speaking of the features, EMUI 16 unlocks a smarter AI assistant for the new Pura 90s series. The company has significantly upgraded Celia’s capabilities with the latest software version, ensuring that users get a more convenient experience every time.
The first enhancement is in terms of navigation. Just tell your AI assistant the place you want to go, and it will recommend the best routes to choose from. It will also suggest top attractions along the midway, find your route, and hail rides.
